Before developing our Baggy Knit Cardigan, we initially created a prototype of a knit camisole. Initially, I was concerned about the thinness of the straps, which led to its shelving as we shifted focus to developing the Knit Cardigan.
However, as the weather warmed, we revisited the camisole design, starting with making the straps thicker. We went through several prototypes, evolving the straps from practically string-like to the robust version you see in the final product photos.
While the straps remain slender and the knit nature of the camisole gives it a delicate feel, I think it looks great on our Smart Doll girls.
Originally released in April 2020, we have recently reintroduced this item, finding that it also fits the pear body girls quite well.
